40Cr steel is one of the most widely used steels for mechanical operations. The hardenability of this steel is outstanding, it can be hardened to Ф28 ~ 60mm when water quenching, and Ф15 ~ 40mm when oil quenching. In addition to quenching and tempering treatment, 40Cr steel is also suitable for cyanidation and high frequency quenching treatment. 40Cr steel has good cutting performance. When the hardness is 174 ~ 229HB, the relative machinability is 60%. The steel is suitable for making medium-sized plastic molds.

Novel coronavirus pneumonia has been closed in recent years, and Pohang iron and Steel Co., Ltd. closed its overseas processing center in Italy, Malaysia, Philippines and India. At the request of the Italian government, all production activities will be stopped except for the necessary 51crv4 steel sheet machinability products. POSCO-ITPC, an Italian stainless steel cold rolling mill near Verona in northeast Italy, is scheduled to close from March 26 to April 3.

Consumption of 51crv4 steel sheet machinability, finished steel products in Latin America in 2019 was 64.2 million tons, down by 5% compared to 67.6 million tons in 2018. The decline in steel consumption in the region reflects the contraction of Latin American economies, particularly the three major economies: Mexico, Argentina and Brazil. These three countries together accounted for 87% of the reduced steel consumption in Latin America. However, our steel materials export volume to those countries did not decrease but show a increasing tendency last year.
